Triangular Channelizing Islands (aka "Pork Chops"), designed incorrectly, are a major hazard and force cyclists into the lane of high speed traffic through intersections on green. We successfully advocated for revised guidelines from DelDOT, in writing, that require a mandatory 5+ feet between concrete edge and white line for bicycle safety. See the memorandum in pdf HERE.
