But I can enjoy my Chunky Monkey and still be thin, healthy and fit! Plus I can avoid traffic jams as well as expensive trips to the doctor dealing with morbid obesity, diabetes, colon cancer, clinical depression, etc.

Never mind the crazy expensive costs of maintaining large but mostly empty parking lots that have devastated the vitality of our cities. Delaware has some ugly examples of towns that have been ravaged by the need to accommodate the car at all costs.

I had that in draft for quite awhile, so if it isn’t readily Googled, I don’t know. Probably a Ben & Jerry’s ad somewhere.

As for the empty parking lots, there is nothing worse on the environment and quality of life than big box retail – read “Big Box Swindle” by Stacy Mitchell: http://www.bigboxswindle.com/
