The Broad Creek Byway Bike Tour on June 1 is sponsored by the Laurel Chamber of Commerce located in historic Laurel Delaware.

Explore the Western Sussex Scenic and Historic Byway

This is a quiet adventure starting on Central Avenue along the banks of the historic Broad Creek in Laurel. Tree lined streets in Laurel give way to scenic byways and along historic waterways, including sections of the Chesapeake Watershed and the Captain John Smith Trail, the Nanticoke River Trail, and the Sussex County Historic and Scenic Byway. The ride also goes through Western Sussex County’s gem: Trap Pond State Park.

5, 25 and 50 mile routes will be marked.

WHEN: June 1, 2013. 7AM Registration. 8AM Mass Start.
