On Wednesday evening, May 21, bicyclists around the world will ride in silence, in memory of those cyclists who have been injured or killed on roadways.  Three rides are scheduled in Delaware:

As stated at the Ride of Silence websitethe goals of this event are:

  • To HONOR those who have been injured or killed
  • To RAISE AWARENESS that we are here
  • To ask that we all SHARE THE ROAD

Delaware has an unacceptable number of injuries and fatalities amongst bicyclists (and pedestrians) every year.  Please consider participating in one of the rides, to remember those whom we have lost because we still haven’t done enough.
